J.Crew’s Ludlow Shop opened earlier today in Tribeca, the first shop wholly devoted to their signature two-button suit. And nice guys that they are, they let us in for a look around. File this one under: handsome things to write on. Doane Paper notebooks just got a new design, courtesy of Brooklyn artist Jon Contino. Contino’s limited run swaps out Helvetica minimalism for something a bit more homespun, right down to the fraction-to-decimal table on the back page—useful for those few minutes each year when you don’t have access to a phone.

Alexander Olch has kept a pretty low profile the last couple seasons, but it looks like he’s been busier than anyone suspected. His new spring/summer crop weighs in with over 100 new items and a genuinely mind-boggling array of fabric tricks.
