Kempt Man of the Hour: Daniel Craig

This snap comes from last week’s Madrid premiere of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, where Daniel Craig was holding a clinic on neutral tones, Rooney Mara was looking impishly sexy and David Fincher was threatening to clobber some poor photographer with a bike chain. (We assume.) Our favorite part is the tight dimple in Craig’s knit tie—a surprisingly tricky feat—and, of course, everything about Ms. Mara.

Agua de Clean

For all the love directed towards vintage style, you rarely hear about vintage fragrance. Admittedly, the concept has some technical difficulties (starting with an unfortunate shelf-life), but we think we’ve come across the closest semblance yet …

We give you Agua de Colonia Concentrada, a Spanish cologne that’s been on shelves almost unchanged since 1912.

The scent achieves a masculine take on citrus that’s almost unheard of among modern cologne. It’s infused with the usual suspected from Mediterranean flora (Spanish lavender, lemon, geranium and eucalyptus) but it doesn’t really smell like cologne—more like Mr. Clean’s suave European cousin. For a certain type of guy, that's just what's wanted.

We like to think of it as vintage in theory.
