Midwest menswear market Northern Grade is popping up in Dumbo this weekend, and they’re bringing along an entire caravan of made-in-the-USA excellence.

Now in its fifth year, with events in six cities, the pop-up (from husband-and-wife cofounders Mac and Katherine McMillan, of Pierrepont Hicks fame) has teamed up with GQ for this latest installment.

We caught up with Katherine to bring you a sneak peek at what’s new, and what you won’t be getting anywhere else…

KM: We have seven new brands joining us for the first time: Fischer Clothing, Giles & Brother, Lotuff Leather, Huntington Base Ball Co., Fellow Barber, Hart Schaffner Marx and Goodlife.

KM: I’m probably most looking forward to Rancourt & Company’s booth—they have a couple of new loafers for spring/summer made specifically for Northern Grade, one in taupe suede and the other in navy leather (above).

KM: But almost everyone is bringing something exclusive; Billy Reid is doing a stadium blanket (above), Stock Manufacturing and Fischer Clothing each have a limited-edition button-up.

KM: GQ actually created a digital pop-up shop, so people can order some of the stuff directly.

KM: Mac always picks up a pair of Left Field pants. They’re his favorite because the fit is so perfect.

KM: The one thing I’m definitely buying for myself this weekend is the Lotuff Working Tote. I want it, so bad.

KM: It’s going to be a great weekend—DJs, artists, Vinegar Hill House will be serving the new Northern Grade Cocktail, similar to a Moscow Mule, and Fellow Barber will be giving complimentary haircuts.
