Kempt Man of the Hour: Andrew Saffir
We’ve already established that we’re suckers for a velvet jacket. So naturally, we’re even more partial to the velvet suit.
This one was found on Cinema Society founder and previous MOTH Andrew Saffir, clinging to Jennifer Esposito during the Soho Grand screening of Blue Valentine. Not exactly a holiday party, but the season of velvet will not be denied. Mr. Saffir went tieless in honor of the slightly more casual occasion—much as we love it, the bowtie would have been too much—and he ended up in a lounge lizard/auter nether-region that hasn’t been tapped since the 70s. For someone trying to spark a film renaissance, that’s a pretty good trick.
