Jaeger-LeCoultre

A lot of the vintage-watch chatter tends to focus on the Rolexes and Omegas of the world—and their divers in particular—but there’s plenty more wrist candy out there to be had.

Case in point: this 1950s Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watch.

And instead of having to hunt one down, our pals over at UrbanDaddy Perks have teamed up with the watch aficionados at Analog/Shift to get you the inside track on this watch and a small cache of other heirloom-worthy timepieces. When we asked which one of the bunch was their favorite, A/S immediately pointed us in the direction of this LeCoultre, noting that it’s got an understated case with a slim profile and a reliable movement that’s easily serviceable. The sweeping seconds register is a nice addition, plus it’s priced to move.

Time is of the essence.
