Tictail’s been kicking around since 2012 as a way to get indie brands and online boutiques a forum to get their products out there. You’ve seen a lot of cool, design-y home goods, jewelry and small accessories. But recently we’ve noticed an influx of solid menswear options.
There are strong hints of the late, great Svpply here (whose successor, Very Goods, is recently launched and richly populated but closed to new accounts until next year), but with a more immediate shoppability.
A scroll through your options in the aptly titled “Men’s Fashion” section yields a lot of Swedish minimalism (of course), shockingly excellent recent vintage, British outerwear and American specialties, including a shop dedicated entirely to velvet slippers. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t bring to your attention this hand-patched vintage leather bomber. I almost didn’t even include it so I could grab one myself.
