The Latest from Sunspel, McNairy and H.W. Carter

We spent this morning browsing new goods at the Paul & Williams showroom, from waxed-cotton overcoats to the nautical-styled Sunspel goods above. It’ll all be hitting stores in the fall, but since there’s too much menswear here to fit above the fold, we’re tackling it piece by piece after the jump.

The New SunspelSunspel has a reputation for making the best undershirts in the developed world, and designer J.W. Anderson is starting to turn them into a real fashion force as well. So far, that means refitting the polo shirt for Daniel Craig (a longtime fan), and a new flame-treatment process that keeps the shirts from pilling when they’re washed.

H.W. Carter’s Waxed-Cotton Farm CoatThis one first caught our eye from the lookbook pic, but up close it’s a whole different animal—and lighter than you’d think a trench-sized waxed-cotton coat could be. Our favorite touch is the Pendleton blanket lining, keeping things appropriately Western.

Alexander Olch Does BeltsAlexander Olch has branched out into belts, which boast muted preppy colors and a much sturdier construction than your average ribbon belt.

Mark McNairy Keeps It WeirdBy now, you know the McNairy shoe playbook: subtle twists on classic English cobbling. This time around, that includes a brown Chelsea boot with yellow contrast elastic, along with this pebble brogue.

We also saw a great pair of LVC suspender pants, a Made & Crafted lookbook that looks like California by way of West Africa and yet another beautiful Donegal tweed jacket from Seize sur Vingt...but we’ll be saving those for later.
